Livia Massuda Kutsher, MBA, serves as director of planned giving and endowments at Temple Emanu-El in New York City.

Before joining Temple Emanu-El, Livia served as assistant director of planned giving & endowments at UJA-Federation of New York, the largest local nonprofit in the United States. She also held senior development roles in major gifts and planned giving at American Friends of Magen David Adom and the ADL (Anti-Defamation League). Earlier in her career she worked in sports media, focusing on marketing and client relations.

Livia earned her MBA from Fordham University, her B.A. from Tufts University, and an M.A. from New York University. She is an active member of the Philanthropic Planning Group of Greater New York (PPGGNY), where she holds certification in planned giving.

The granddaughter of Holocaust survivors and the daughter of Jews who faced persecution and exile, she is profoundly committed to strengthening and securing Jewish life for the future.
